Haha "a set of brushes made by myself" cryptic much? 0_o
I've been exploring a lot with photoshop brushes...in fact I spent this whole last semester building only one brush (because it took me that long to get it right.) So if you have any general suggestions about getting that textured painted/finished look that would be wonderful...
(This is my last illustration if you need a starting point refference: [link] )
ahah not to be cryptic, simply my english sucks I see your work. it seems that you don't use brushes with textures. I mostly use normal round brushes, more or less soft, but applying a texture pattern in the brush palette. So the first thing is to make good patterns. I start scanning a little piece from original acrylic works.
Thank you so much! I've always wondered how you created such beautiful textured illustrations in photoshop.
You have taught me something that will keep me busy for a LONG time! Thank you! You answered like a thousand questions of which I had been trying to piece together in my head. I thought I WAS using textures, but after seeing how you achieved your illustrations by messing with the brush texture palette's, clearly I need to explore more.
thanks! And keep up the great work! (and your english isn't THAT bad. haha)
